Hearthstone Houses has adopted the NARR Mission of supporting people in recovery from addiction by improving their access to quality recovery residences, through standards, support services, placement, education, research, and advocacy.
Hearthstone Houses provides caring peer-to-peer recovery coaching and support for addiction and addictive behaviors. Our Recovery Coaches work with you daily to make positive decisions in your life regarding how addiction and recovery affect your career, family, and other personal relationships. We can help find resources for harm reduction, detox, family support, and local support groups.
Our Recovery Coaches or Peer Support Specialists neither offer primary treatment for addiction nor diagnose addiction, and they aren't tied to any particular recovery method. They support any positive change, including helping people coming home from treatment avoid relapse, building community support for recovery, or working on life goals unrelated to addiction, such as relationships, work, and education.
We are a bridge facility and adhere to Fair Housing and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines.

Your Signature Recovery Plan at Hearthstone Houses
Lasting Recovery Through the Continuum of Care Model
Hearthstone Houses' Signature Recovery Plan (SRP) model is an integrated system of care that guides and tracks clients over time. Recovery coaching becomes the thread linking all health care and community services into the individual's recovery journey — providing consistency, long-term support, compassion, motivation, and guidance. This continuum of care model is specifically designed for the best possible outcome for long-term sobriety.
Services usually begin with either a detoxification component or a residential treatment center (RTC) component. Following the residential portion, the next step can be a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP), where the client doesn't stay overnight at the treatment facility, typically lasting 1–4 weeks. This is usually followed by an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), typically around 6–8 weeks long with 3–4 sessions per week.
At either the PHP or IOP point, the SRP continuum of care model moves into a more structured recovery-oriented environment (a minimum of 90 days up to 6 months or longer), and finally into a less structured recovery-oriented environment (90 days to 6 months or longer).
It's been proven that long-term sobriety results from a supportive sober environment during the recovery process, which leads to a higher likelihood of success.
Throughout the entire recovery process, the Recovery Coach role has also proven to be a significant, positive contributor — providing consistency and direction to the client while helping them transition to living independently in society.
Living a long-term clean and sober life is the ultimate measure of success and the greatest goal of Hearthstone Houses' continuum of care model.
